Cheers to the New Year
Hello flower friends!
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for being a part of the Michelle's Flowers family + journey! We truly have such ah-mazing customers and people surrounding us!
This year was incredibly different and quite hard at times but also was a big blessing in SO MANY ways.
Thank you for supporting our small business! Thank you for sharing in the love of flowers with me and thank you for the continue support year after year! Next year marks our champagne birthday and there are some REALLY EPIC + AH-MAZING things coming!! If you are not on our email list .... click the link in the bio, we will be celebrating ALL YEAR LONG and it starts Jan 15 with all the people on our email list.
This year especially I could truly feel your love + support and it has motivated me to really dive into all the things I want to do with Michelle's Flowers! I have honestly learnt more this year in business and about myself than many years combined. And as difficult as the year was at times, I AM SO VERY BLESSED to have experienced it.
Weddings are a big part of Michelle's Flowers. I have always defined my successes in my work through the weddings I create. This year was not like an other in our 14 years of doing weddings! And this I feel is where the blessings of 2020 have touched me the most! This year I found that I am so much more than just a wedding and event florist. From May to October is it go time for weddings at Michelle's Flowers. Every single weekend is full of beautiful designing for us. And although a big chuck of our weddings were postponed until 2021, we were still booked solid for the season (another blessing) but in a different way. It was on a smaller scale and more intimate design work. The kicker for me was being able to enjoy weekends as we only had a few setups the whole season. And to be honest, I loved it. It has changed my view on how I want to do weddings and how many full service events I will take on in a season.
One other HUGE blessing I experienced this year was falling back in love with flowers. Without even really realizing, I lost the appreciation of flowers. Being in studio, designing and creating during the months of March/April/ May of this year brought me joy, comfort and peace. I genuinely do not think I could have endured this year with missing my family and friends, having to cancel my wedding in Arizona, and then plan another wedding in two weeks in town, without the appreciation an time flowers in my life.
Cheers to the passing of 2020 and to a bright and healing 2021 for our families, our loved ones, and all mankind.
Lots of love, hope, joy for you and yours this upcoming year!
